Der Tsitsikamma Trail ist ein Wanderparadies am Südkap, das durch ausgedehnte einheimische afromontane Wälder und Bergfynbos führt. Uralte Flussschluchten und zahlreiche Flüsse und Bäche erinnern uns an die schöpferische Kraft des Wassers und an den Ursprung des Wortes Tsitsikamma. Dies ist eine verzauberte Welt, in der das Echo vergangener Giganten wie Elefanten und Büffel noch zu spüren ist. Einige der schönsten Exemplare des südafrikanischen Nationalbaums, des Outeniqua-Gelbholzes, wachen über das Blätterdach des Waldes, während Wanderer über ihre riesigen Wurzeln klettern.

Dieser sechstägige Wanderweg, der im Nature's Valley beginnt und 62,3 km weiter entweder an der Storms River Bridge oder im Village endet, führt die Wanderer durch das Herz der Tsitsikamma Mountains. Kürzere Varianten (2, 3, 4 oder 5 Tage) sind möglich, da jede der fünf Übernachtungshütten über eine eigene Zufahrtsstraße mit sicheren Parkplätzen am Startpunkt verfügt.
